This page goes through each ingredient in turn — what it is, why it is in the formula, what the research is studying, and what it has not shown — so that you can evaluate the protocol the way you would evaluate any label. Most longevity ingredients get turned into daily habits by default. CELLUNOVA was built on a different premise: the daily base does daily jobs (NAD+ foundation, gut-mito support), and a periodic layer keeps the compounds studied in cellular-aging research distinct from that base, at real doses, without adding nine bottles to the daily routine. The selection rule was simple: each ingredient had to have a plausible, researched role in cellular maintenance or antioxidant defense, and be included at a dose that is a formula decision rather than a label decoration.
What it is: a natural polyamine present in every cell and in foods such as wheat germ, aged cheese, and mushrooms. Levels tend to decline with age.
Why it is here: studied for its role in autophagy — cellular recycling. In preclinical models, dietary spermidine was associated with autophagy induction (Eisenberg 2016).
What it has not shown: human lifespan or outcome effects. Animal data.

What it is: a polyphenol found in grape skins and some berries, in its trans (active) configuration.
Why it is here: a polyphenol studied extensively in cellular-aging research; antioxidant support.
What it has not shown: human trial results have been mixed. We make no sirtuin, heart, or longevity claim for it.
What it is: a flavonoid found in onions, apples, capers, and many plants.
Why it is here: a flavonoid studied in cellular-aging research; antioxidant support.
What it has not shown: any human outcome CELLUNOVA claims. Quercetin appears in a great deal of research, some of it in drug-combination trials in disease populations; none of that is a supplement claim, and we do not cite it.
What it is: a flavonoid found in strawberries, apples, and persimmons.
Why it is here: a flavonoid studied in cellular-aging research; antioxidant support.
What it has not shown: human outcomes. The most-cited fisetin work is in mice, and its lifespan language does not apply to people or to this product.
What it is: a concentrated extract of *Camellia sinensis*; EGCG is its principal catechin.
Why it is here: a green tea catechin with antioxidant properties, studied in autophagy research.
What it has not shown: weight, metabolism, or any other outcome. Concentrated green tea extract is a potent botanical: consult your healthcare provider before use, especially alongside medication.
What it is: an acetylated form of the amino acid cysteine.
Why it is here: supports the body's glutathione production — glutathione being a major intracellular antioxidant — and antioxidant defenses.
What it has not shown: NAC has medical uses in other contexts; none of them is a supplement claim, and CELLUNOVA is not a substitute for any of them.
What it is: a redox cofactor found in small amounts in foods such as kiwi, green peppers, and fermented soybeans.
Why it is here: studied for its role in mitochondrial biogenesis pathways; supports mitochondrial resilience.
What it has not shown: that it "grows new mitochondria" in people, or any cognitive effect. We do not say either.
What it is: the calcium salt of alpha-ketoglutarate, an intermediate in the Krebs cycle — the core loop of cellular energy metabolism.
Why it is here: a Krebs-cycle intermediate that supports cellular energy metabolism; studied in aging research.
What it has not shown: "biological age reduction." Commercial age-reduction studies exist for AKG; we do not cite them, and we make no age-reversal claim.
What it is: a carotenoid pigment produced by microalgae; the compound that colors salmon and shrimp.
Why it is here: carotenoid antioxidant support.
What it has not shown: skin, eye, or performance outcomes at this dose. We do not claim them.
What it is: a standardized black pepper extract.
Why it is here: included to support nutrient absorption.
What it has not shown: a specific bioavailability percentage for this formula. We do not state one.

"Preclinical" means cells and animals. "General" means well-characterized chemistry or long-standing use without a specific trial cited here. No row says "human outcome trial," because for this formula there is not one — and the row would be dishonest if it did.

What is in CELLUNOVA? Are quercetin and fisetin the same thing? No. Both are plant flavonoids studied in cellular-aging research, but they are different molecules from different foods — quercetin from onions and apples, fisetin from strawberries. CELLUNOVA includes 500 mg quercetin and 100 mg fisetin for antioxidant support.
Why is CELLUNOVA taken for only 7 days a month? It is designed as a periodic layer, not a daily habit: 5 capsules daily for 7 consecutive days, repeated monthly, with the daily base the rest of the month. The format keeps roles distinct and caps the monthly load of concentrated botanicals. It is a schedule, not an outcome claim.
Does CELLUNOVA contain allergens? Yes — wheat. The spermidine is derived from wheat germ. If you have a wheat allergy or celiac disease, do not use it; review the label and consult your clinician.
